About 298 shares have advanced, 176 shares declined, and 80 shares are unchanged. Wipro is up 3 percent while Sun Pharma, Infosys, Dr Reddy's Labs and Cipla are top gainers in the Sensex. ITC is down over 2 percent. SBI, Vedanta, Tata Power and Bajaj Auto are among the major laggards.
