Asian markets were trading weak.
China’s Shanghai Composite shed 1.21 percent or 24.25 points at 1,986.60.
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng fell 0.46 percent or 101.50 points at 21,867.45.
Japan’s Nikkei plunged 2.54 percent or 358.85 points at 13,771.13.
Singapore’s Straits Times declined 0.52 percent or 16.82 points at 3,219.28.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite was down 0.33 percent or 6.38 points at 1,904.43.
Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted fell 0.37 percent or 30.37 points at 8,119.03.
