Asian shares slipped on Friday and the dollar held to overnight losses against the yen.
China’s Shanghai Composite fell 0.45 percent or 10.26 points at 2,245.35.
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng shed 0.28 percent or 64.16 points at 22,889.58.
Japan’s Nikkei was flat at 14,398.84.
Singapore’s Straits Times was flat at 3,120.63.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite was down 0.22 percent or 4.40 points at 1,999.66.
Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted slipped 0.22 percent or 17.93 points at 8,207.43.
