China’s Shanghai Composite shed 0.41 percent or 9.09 points at 2,232.18.
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was flat at 22,955.76.
Japan’s Nikkei was down 0.20 percent or 29.19 points at 14,395.88.
Singapore’s Straits Times rose 0.64 percent or 20.02 points at 3,128.21.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite was up 0.22 percent or 4.48 points at 2,008.33.
Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted was down 0.12 percent or 9.57 points at 8,199.42.
