The market rebounded in early trade Thursday after losing nearly 700 points on the Sensex in previous three consecutive sessions. The Sensex rose 165.59 points to 24388.91 and the Nifty climbed 49.65 points to 7411.45. ONGC, SBI, Tata Motors, Bharti Airtel, Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda and Idea Cellular were early gainers, up 1.5-3 percent. 


Sensex and Nifty are set to open higher tracking firm global cues and positive trading of Nifty futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange.The Nifty futures traded on the Singapore Stock Exchange, also known as the SGX Nifty was up 0.87 per cent or 54 points at 7,433.

The market has opened sharply lower following correction in global peers and crude oil prices. The Sensex fell 254.69 points or 1.04 percent to 24284.31 and the Nifty declined 82.80 points or 1.11 percent to 7372.75. ICICI Bank, Tata Motors, Tata Steel, BHEL, ONGC, Cairn India, Vedanta, Idea Cellular and Bank of Baroda were down 2-2.5 percent while HUL gained over a percent.


The broader markets were also facing the heat of selling pressure. The BSE mid-cap and small-cap indices slumped 1.5 per cent each.Asian shares sagged on Wednesday as oil prices sank again due to fading hopes of a deal to curb a global supply glut, prompting investor to seek shelter in safe-haven assets and lifting bonds and gold to multi-month highs.

The market has opened flat ahead of Reserve Bank of India's monetary policy review. The Sensex is up 42.63 points or 0.2 percent at 24867.46, and the Nifty is up 6.40 points or 0.08 percent at 7562.35. About 452 shares have advanced, 253 shares declined, and 32 shares are unchanged. ONGC, GAIL, HDFC, Bajaj Auto and ITC are major losers while Adani Ports, Sun Pharma, Tata Motors, Dr Reddy's Labs and Maruti are gainers in early trade.


Asian shares wobbled on Tuesday as crude oil prices slid on rekindled oversupply fears and after downbeat manufacturing data raised concerns about global momentum.Stocks had been lower earlier in the day as weak Chinese economic data added to concerns about a global slowdown and oil prices resumed their slide.

India’s second largest IT company, Infosys, in a concall on Monday warned investors of weaker margins in second half of FY16. This will mainly be due to lower spending by the company’s top clients on account of the festive season.The market has extended rally in early trade Tuesday, taking positive cues from global peers. The 30-share BSE Sensex climbed 109.17 points to 25869.27 and the 50-share NSE Nifty gained 30.95 points at 7837.55.


.ICICI Bank, Vedanta, SBI, L&T, BHEL, Idea Cellular, Cairn India and Tata Power were early gainers, up around a percent each. Dr Reddy's Labs, Bharti Airtel, GAIL, Hero Motocorp, Infosys and HCL Technologies were losers.Sugar stocks extended their rally today after seeing sharp gains in the previous session amid a global rally in raw sugar prices.

Free Indian Stock Market Tips and Solutions

The market has started off trade with a 1 percent fall on Tuesday following weakness in global peers and ahead of much awaited RBI policy. The Sensex fell 280.86 points to 25335.98 and the Nifty plunged 84 points to 7711.70. Vedanta, ICICI Bank, Tata Steel, Hindalco, Dr Reddy's Labs and Cairn India topped the selling list, down 2-4 percent.


 
The latest round of selloff in global markets has been triggered by weak China data which exacerbated slowdown concerns about the world's second biggest economy.

Domestic markets will also take cues from Reserve Bank of India's policy announcement later in the day.Rate sensitive stocks such as banking, auto and realty stocks came under pressure as investors avoided bets ahead of the RBI policy announcement. The benchmark index of banking stocks, Bank Nifty, fell nearly 1.7 per cent.

 India's Sundaram Finance Ltd plans to raise funds through issue of bonds maturing in two years, three merchant bankers told NewsRise on Wednesday. The company will pay an annual coupon of 8.74 percent on these notesThe devaluation of yuan on the back of weak exports from China has resulted in unwinding of yuan carry trades in particular against the euro. Asian currencies have come under pressure due to yuan depreciation.


Traders and investors resorted to buying after four days of selloff as the retail inflation cooled down to 3.78 per cent compared to 5.40 per cent in June reigniting hopes of interest rate cut by RBI in the September policy review.

The domestic markets opened marginally higher today. The S&P Sensex was testing 28,000 level in morning trades. The NSE's barometer Nifty was testing its crucial psychological level of 8,450 level.  Hindustan Petroleum Corp rises 2.5 pct; Bharat Petroleum Corp gains 1.9 pct and Indian Oil Corp advances 2.3 pct.U.S. crude prices tumble most since April on surprise stock build.Oil retailers to outshine as business outlook gets even better.


The only thing currently in favour of the market is a huge line-up of IPOs and history suggests that market has always held on during those periods. Indigo, Infibeam, TeamLease, Catholic Syrian, Cafe Coffee Day, Matrix Cellular, RBL Bank, GVK Airport Developers are the IPOs slated to come out. Going forward the prediction on rains for July, Aug, Sep are not so encouraging and is a cause for worry and  politics is likely to derail monsoon session of the Parliament.

The S&P BSE Sensex pared gains after rallying as much as 72 points in trade on Wednesday, weighed down by losses in ITCBSE 0.65 %, ICICI Bank, RILBSE 0.53 %, SBI and Axis BankBSE -0.17 %. 

The Indian rupee fell marginally in early trade. The currency has opened at 63.65 per dollar, down 6 paise compared to 63.59 a dollar in previous session.Multi Commodity Exchange of India gains 1.5 pctSEBI board on Tuesday discussed operational issues relating to the merger of Forward Markets Commission (FMC) with itself Merger of SEBI and FMC will lead to more institutional participation in commodities market and aid exchange's volumes.

release.India's central bank is due to release the current account data for January-March sometime this week.


The Reserve Bank of India said banks that decide to recast a company's debt under the so-called "strategic debt
restructuring" (SDR) scheme must hold 51 percent or more of the equity after the debt-for-share conversion.

The 50-share Nifty index plunged over 50 points to break below its crucial psychological support level of 8300, weighed down by losses in IT, auto, realty and consumer durable stocks.

The S&P BSE Sensex started on a cautious note on Friday, led by losses in TCS, Infosys, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank and L&T.
