Shares of Tata Motors, ONGC, Coal India, ICICI
Bank, Bajaj Auto, Ambuja Cements and IndusInd Bank were down 2.5-4.5 percent.

The Nikkei ended down 1.1 percent to 15,341.82
after slipping to a low of 15,255.36, the weakest since last Friday.

The case comes as an increasing number of users
switch to cheaper Internet-based voice and video services, grabbing market
share from telecoms operators.

Shares of ONGC, Tata Motors, BHEL, State Bank of
India, GAIL, IndusInd Bank, BPCL and Bank of Baroda are top losers among
largecaps in the Sensex, which lost between 2-3 percent.
