Indian Nifty Market Investment Option

After a stellar rally, the market has opened on a weak note. The Sensex is down 36.13 points at 27454.4 and the Nifty is down 14.35 points at 8317.60. About 424 shares have advanced, 253 shares declined, and 82 shares are unchanged. TCS, ONGC, Wipro, Sun Pharma and Tata Motors are top gainers in the Sensex. Among the losers are Bajaj Auto, Bharti Airtel, Coal India, ITC and Dr Reddy's Labs.

Indian stock markets opened at record highs on Wednesday, with the BSE Sensex rising over 100 points to 28,885 and the broader Nifty advancing 25 points to 8,722.

The Sensex has gained over 1,500 points in the last five trading sessions as investors rejoiced a surprise rate cut by the Reserve Bank on Thursday. There's optimism that the RBI's changed stance on interest rates will spur demand and kick start the investment cycle leading to higher economic growth.

The S&P BSE Sensex rallied as much as 96 points in trade on Wednesday to hit its fresh lifetime high of 28880.80, led by gains in HDFC, HDFC BankBSE 0.52 %, TCSBSE 0.51 %, L&T and Sun PharmaBSE 0.98 %.

 
Tracking the momentum, the 50-share Nifty index also surged as much as 27 points in trade t touch its fresh record high of 8722.50, supported by gains in capital goods, banks, auto, consumer durable and metal stocks.

Global Nifty Market Update by MarketMagnify

The BSE Sensex and Nifty rose over 0.8 per cent after opening with minor gains on Monday. The Sensex gained as much as 250 points to 27,507, while the Nifty surged nearly 80 points to a high of 8,279.


Global cues remained positive. US markets ended higher on Friday with both Dow and S&P 500 closing at record highs. Asian markets were mostly positive on Monday.

Indian Nifty Market Analysis and Updates

The Sensex edged up on Tuesday, but markets lacked real momentum visible over the past three sessions during which the BSE benchmark has jumped over 1,000 points. The rupee weakened to 63.30 per dollar and weighed on equities.Asian markets were also subdued though equities in the US had a good run overnight, with both the Dow Jones and the S&P 500 indices ending at record highs.

Latest Investment in Indian Nifty Market

BSE Sensex and Nifty struggled for momentum today in early as caution prevailed ahead the release of July-September economic growth data on Friday.

The Sensex was up 30 points to 28,417 while Nifty edged up to 8,484.However, some buying was seen in midcap and smallcap stocks with both their indices on the BSE rising nearly 0.3 per cent.

U.S. MARKET

U.S. stocks rebounded from their worst decline since November on Tuesday after Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke defended the Fed-s bond-buying stimulus and sales of new homes hit a 4-1/2-year high.
The Dow Jones industrial average gained 115.96 points, or 0.84 percent, to 13,900.13 at the close. The Standard & Poor-s 500 Index rose 9.09 points, or 0.61 percent, to 1,496.94. The Nasdaq Composite Index advanced 13.40 points, or 0.43 percent, to close at 3,129.65.

U.S.CRUDE

U.S. crude was up 10 cents a barrel at $93.23, well off an earlier high of $94.46.

BRENT CRUDE

Brent crude rose 57 cents to settle at $114.10 a barrel, but was down 3 percent on the week. U.S. crude futures rose 29 cents to settle at $93.13 a barrel, but were down 2.8 percent this week.

GOLD

Gold had dropped $4.10 an ounce to $1,576.20 by  00330 GMT, after posting modest gains on Friday.
