Asian shares extended recent declines Tuesday,
China’s Shanghai Composite shed 0.39 percent or 8.43 points at 2,166.23.
Japan’s Nikkei fell 0.32 percent or 44.70 points at 13,808.62.
Singapore’s Straits Times was flat at 3,135.27.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite slipped 0.48 percent or 9.60 points at 1,984.82.
Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted was down 0.22 percent or 18.12 points at 8,315.54.
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was up 0.23 percent or 52.98 points at 23,026.93.
