Chinese equity markets enjoyed a strong bounce on Tuesday, leading the rest of Asian stocks to pare losses
The Shanghai Composite led gains by nearly 1 percent at 2,151.55.
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng added 0.54% or 123.55 points at 22,930.13.
Japan’s Nikkei shed 0.60% or 85.79 points at 14,310.25.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite was down 0.12% or 2.38 points at 2,045.76.
Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted was flat at 8,402.09
Singapore’s Straits Times was flat at 3,204.97
