Japan’s Nikkei 225 Average slid 696.79 points or 5.24 percent to 12,592.53,
Singapore’s Straits Times was down 49.12 points or 1.56 percent to 3,104.36
South Korea’s Kospi Composite Index declined 21.38 points or 1.12 percent to 1,888.53.
Taiwan Weighted lost 123.85 points or 1.53 percent to 7,992.30.
