Yes Bank raises Rs. 545 crore of Tier II bonds

Country’s fifth largest private lender Yes Bank has successfully raised Rs.545 crore of Basel III compliant Tier II bonds on private placement basis. The issue was closed on March 31, 2016.

The issue was rated "ICRA AA+ hyb" by ICRA and "CARE AA+" by CARE. The bonds will be listed on the BSE Limited.

Recently, the bank announced its marginal cost of funds based lending rate (MCLR) for one year at 9.60 per cent. As per RBI guidelines, the bank has approved MCLR for all Rupee loans sanctioned with effect from April 1st 2016.

Besides the one-year tenor, the bank has declared MCLR for other tenors — overnight (9 per cent), one month (9.10 per cent), three months (9.25 per cent) and six months (9.40 per cent).

Block deal on Havells India; stock up 1.2%

Havells India gained 1.2% to Rs.317.15 on BSE. Around 14.4 lakh shares were traded in a single block at Rs. 318.75 on the BSE.

The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.

The Stock Market has begun off week on a positive note, following worldwide prompts post US occupations information. The 30-Share BSE Sensex rose 125.18 focuses to 25394.82 and the 50-Share NSE Nifty climbed 38.15 focuses to 7751.20. Adani Ports, Tata Motors, BHEL, Dr Reddy's Labs, TCS, Tata Power and Idea Cellular were early gainers while ITC lost 2 percent. 

Global Market were firm after information demonstrated the US included 2.15 lakh employments, against a normal 2.05 lakh in March. Asian markets were exchanging higher with Nikkei rising 0.2 percent. Singapore's Straits Times increased 0.7 percent. China, Hong Kong and Taiwan markets are closed today.
