Hong Kong’s Hang Seng rose 0.39 percent or 91.95 points at 23,752.01.
Japan’s Nikkei declined 0.67 percent or 100.86 points at 15,063.44.
Singapore’s Straits Times was flat at 3,203.40.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite added 1.08 percent or 21.69 points at 2,032.50.
Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted rose 0.65 percent or 53.63 points at 8,245.09.
